I cannot be angry with him, even by mistake; and I feel satisfied when I overlook his faults. I ardently long for him at every moment. Saki, I cannot forget him. My Heart wants only HIM”

Once, he went to a secluded forest bower at night in accordance with the plan we had discreetly arranged by hints and signals. In a mischievous mood, he concealed himself in the dense foliage of the forest just to observe my eagerness to meet him and my agony in his absence. The gopis’ smiles conveyed their intentions so clearly that even a naive person would be attracted. Their braids loosened as the pores of their skin thrilled with intense desire. Yet such gestures were to no avail. Krishna reflected deeply for a long time, gradually destroying his last aspirations for the company of the gopis. Now he is exhilarated exclusively by Radha’s emotions and his astonishment increases at every new moment. May that youthful Kesava destroy the sufferings of you all.

ப்ரஸுதிஸ் சூதானாம் ஸகி ஸிகரீ-ணீயம் ஸுகயதி||11||
दुरालोकस्तोकस्तबकनवकाशोकलतिका
विकाशः कासारोपवनपवनोऽपि व्यथयति।
अभिभ्राम्यद्भृङ्गीरणितरमणीया न मुकुल-
प्रसूतिश्चूतानां सखि शिखरिणीयं सुखयति ॥11||
“Wind from the lake side garden, coaxing birds on the trees & clusters of scarlet flowers are all fanning the flames to burn me. This mountain of new mango blossoms, humming with roving bumblebees, is no comfort to me now, Saki”
saaküta-smitam aakula kula-galad-dham millam ulläsita
bhrü-vallikam, aléka-darshita bhujä-mülordhva drista-stanam |
gopinäm nibhrutam nirekshya gamitäm-känksha-ciram-cint
antar mugdha manoharam haratu va:, klesham nava: keshava: ||12||
ஸாகூத-ஸ்மிதம் ஆகுலா-குல கலத்-தம் மில்லம் உல்லாஸித
ப்ரூ-வல்லீகம்-அலீக- தர்ஸித புஜா -மூலோர்த்வ த்ருஷ்ட-ஸ்தனம்|
கோபீனாம் நிப்ருதம் நிரீக்ஷ்ய கமிதம் காக்ஷ-ஸ்சிரம்- சிந்தயன்
அந்தர் முக்த மனோஹரம் ஹரது வ: க்லேஸம் நவ:கேஸவ:||12||
साकूतस्मितमाकुलाकुलगलद्धम्मिल्लमुल्लासित-
भ्रूवल्लीकमलीकदर्शितभुजामूलार्द्धदृष्टस्तनम्।
गोपीनां निभृतं निरीक्ष्य दयिता काश्चिच्चिरं चिन्तय-
न्नंतर्मुग्धमनोहरो हरतु वः क्लेशं नवः केशवः॥12||
The gopis’ smiles conveyed their intentions so clearly that even a naive person would be attracted. Their braids loosened as the pores of their skin thrilled with intense desire. Yet such gestures were to no avail. Krishna reflected deeply for a long time, gradually destroying his last aspirations for the company of the gopis. Now he is exhilarated exclusively by Radha’s emotions and his astonishment increases at every new moment. May that youthful Kesava destroy the sufferings of you all.
